In a country where 85% of farmers are small & marginal, it becomes a hunting ground for big corporates with deep pockets to capture the farm sector. In a way the govt has fired the 1st shot at ‘Arthiyas’ with venomous precision to pave the way for the big corporates.
The simple question is would the govt now dare to impose income tax on farm income.
